Brief History

For long it was felt ,with the steadily increasing demands and highly competitive life to provide good quality education to the young boys and girls of Dharamsala and its surrounding areas.Keeping this in mind amidst the emerald green fields of SIDHBARI , DHARAMSALA , H.P. this unique and privileged 'Aadhunik Public School' was opened on 13th of February 1995 by the first child admitted in the school rolls. Initially the school was catering to the needs of students from Nursery till class VI . School was upgraded to Class VIII in 1997 and was granted affiliation with C.B.S.E. for middle school in the same year. Thereafter school was upgraded to Class X and was granted Secondary level affiliation with C.B.S.E. in 1999. School was upgraded to Senior Secondary level in 2005.

Since the school's opening in 1995 , it has grown from strength to strength. A school is known and judged by its products and results. In its brief history , school has already bagged awards in inter-school , district and state level functions.
